"Hidden Splendors of the Yucatan"

published by Splendors Publishing

"Hidden Spendors of the Yucatan" is a photo essay of dives in the first 8 subaquatic cave systems found in the state of Quintana Roo, Mexico located in the vicinity of the old Mayan city of Tulum about an hour south of Cancun. The time period for this work spans seven years from 1987 to 1994.

I was priviledged to be one of the pioneers, diving, photographing, teaching and exploring theses caves with the individuals who had made the discovery and first exploration dives in them. Over nine years have elapsed since we ceased our dive operations on Yucatan and of course many more systems have been located and explored. Actually the process is ongoing and more or less continuous with a growing cast of characters contributing to the systems.

"Hidden Splendors" contains 98 pages with 97 creative 4 color images printed on high quality matte paper. The publication date is 1 November 2004
